"But behind all your stories is always your mother's story, because hers is where yours begin"
-Mitch Alborn
Nearly all the women in my generational family, including myself, had tumultuous relationships with their mothers. Based on what I witnessed and experienced, I perceived early on, that broken mother-daughter relationships were "Normal".
I know what it's like to feel ALONE, SILENCED, and UNSUPPORTED.
While I cognitively developed, my mother emotionally deteriorated, as a result of never being mothered herself. Eventually, our unmet needs and unexpressed pain ravaged what little relationship we had. The closeness we lacked impacted my maturation process greatly.
I DECIDED AT A YOUNG AGE, THAT I WOULD BREAK THE CYCLE OF UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS. While seeking professional and spiritual guidance, I developed and implemented a plan to help me heal. By utilizing effective tools, I rose above depression, fear of rejection, and low self-esteem. I also unveiled my call to help other Mothers and Daughters reconcile and reconnect.
You are NOT ALONE, I AM HERE to show you the way.
This Mother-Daughter coaching space was created with the rebel woman in mind. The one who has accepted the responsibility to heal her family's blood line and break dysfunctional cycles. For the woman who is no longer satisfied with surviving her trauma, but ready to thrive in spite of it. For the Mother or Daughter who knows that there has to be a better way to relate to one another. The one who refuses to remain silent or accept any future abuse. For the Brave, Courageous and Strong woman reading this; yes, YOU are the reason Mended Relationships is here!
Coaching allows me to share the tools I have been implementing for nearly a decade. It exposes the spiritual, generational, and patriarchal powers that have aggravated the Mother-Daughter conflict for years. It addresses the silencing and emotional starvation of women that have left Mothers and Daughters fighting for connection; while making forgiveness and empathy nearly impossible to achieve. Are you ready for change?
